Calm@theFarm
Hello
Our vision is to create a space where neurodivergent young people feel safe and welcome, away from the hustle and bustle of normal life – a space where they can thrive and be completely themselves. No diagnosis is needed.
We meet every other week during school term time between 1.30 and 3.30 pm, with occasional extra trips planned in accordance with the group's interest.
Our aim is that the group is guided and developed by the young people – and includes lots of arts & crafts and animal care.
In the first few sessions our members have enjoyed sitting with the goats and rabbits, feeding the pigs and alpacas, making slime, baking, and creating vision boards.
The group is free to all who attend, although you are invited to contribute on a pay-as-you-feel basis to support the development of the group and help fund extra activities.

The group currently has a maximum of 12 young people, to ensure it stays a comfortable number for those attending.
We have some forms to fill in on initial visit, so that we can understand the needs of the young people we are working with, and ensure appropriate support and adaptations are put in place. We can also offer an introductory visit to the farm, so that you are able to come and chat with us and see the site before the group. We have found this to be really helpful, especially if your young person is anxious.
Please get in touch if you would like to arrange this.
